Jai Maruthi Fabricators

Our fabrication shop is located at 1/288 on Rayakottai Road in the Onnalwadi part of Hosur. Hosur is a place where everyone seems to be making something out of metal, and we are no different. The road outside is always busy with people going toward the factories. Our space is basically a large shed where we do all the welding and assembly. When you walk in, you’ll see the blue light of the welding torches and smell the burnt metal. It’s a smell you never really get out of your clothes. We have a small group of workers who are really good with their hands. They don’t say much, they just get the job done. We work on all kinds of steel structures, from small gates to big industrial frames. The floor is concrete and usually has some chalk marks where we were measuring things out. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most of our work comes from people just driving down Rayakottai Road and seeing what we are doing. We keep a pot of coffee going and try to stay out of the sun during the hottest part of the afternoon. It is a tough job sometimes, but there is something good about seeing a pile of raw steel turn into something useful by the end of the day. We just keep at it.
