M J Casting Ltd is out here in Upparapalli, right near Mathagonapalli. It’s an industrial spot, so there is always some noise and heat coming from the shop floor. We do a lot of metal casting work here. It’s the kind of job where you go home with dirty hands every single day. We’ve been at this for a while now. The facility at 209/2A is where we spend most of our time. It’s not a quiet office job by any means. We deal with molten metal and molds and all that goes into making parts for other businesses. The weather gets pretty hot out here, and when the furnaces are running, it gets even hotter inside. We don't really have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just focus on the molds and the metal. Most of the guys here have been with us for years. We know the machines and we know how the metal behaves under pressure. Sometimes a batch doesn't come out right and we have to start over from scratch. That’s just how casting goes. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the parts we send out are solid. It’s a lot of physical labor and staying focused on the details. We like being tucked away in this part of the country. It’s quiet once you get away from the noise. We just keep our heads down and work.
