Kelamangalam Vegetables Collective Farming Producer Company Limited is located at 1/91, Marupalli in the Thally area. We are way out in the Krishnagiri district of Tamil Nadu. It’s a quiet place, mostly surrounded by greenery and open space. Our building is simple, just a numbered spot in Marupalli. We spend a lot of time talking to the folks around Thally. There isn't much of a corporate structure here. We don't wear suits or have big presentations. Usually, we’re just in our work clothes, sitting around a table trying to figure out the week’s schedule. It gets dusty out here in Krishnagiri, especially when the trucks go by. Our office floors are never quite clean for long, but we don’t mind much. We’ve got our records in big binders and a computer that’s a little slow. It’s how things go in a place like Marupalli. We aren't looking to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our bit here in the village. Most of us have lived in this part of Tamil Nadu our whole lives. We know the weather and we know the land. When someone comes by the office at 1/91, they usually get a glass of water and a plain conversation. We don't have a marketing department to tell our story, so we just tell it like it is. It's just us and the work.
