Talwar Bros.

We are located over on Adirajuvari Street in Durgapuram. It is a busy little corner. My brother and I share the main desk and there is barely enough room for both our tea cups. People know the address 24-20-21. We have been here for a good while now. The building is older but it stays relatively cool in the summer months. Most of the day is spent handling orders and talking on the phone to suppliers. It is not a glamorous place. There are stacks of files everywhere and the floor is a bit uneven. We don’t spend money on renovations because we don't see the point. The work gets done regardless. Durgapuram is a decent area with plenty of regular faces. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just sit outside on the steps until it comes back. It gives us a chance to see who is walking by. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just the two of us and a couple of helpers. We grew up around here so we know the local rhythms. It is a practical way to live. The shop stays open until late evening. By the time we lock up, the street lights are already on. We go home, eat, and do it all again the next day. It keeps us out of trouble.
