Our office is in the Venkateswara Building on D.V.G. Road in Basavangudi. It’s shop number 14. If you know Basavangudi, you know D.V.G. Road is one of those places that’s always full of energy and people shopping. We are right in the middle of it. We do export work, so things can get a bit frantic when we have a big shipment going out. The office is often full of boxes or samples of things we are sending overseas. It’s not a very big space, so we have to be pretty organized to make sure we don't trip over anything. We have a couple of computers and a printer that probably needs replacing soon, but it works for now. We have been here for several years and have a good rhythm going. The local vendors nearby are friendly, and we usually get our tea from the small shop just down the street. It’s a very local way of working, even if our business reaches outside of India. We don't spend money on fancy decorations; we’d rather just focus on making sure the goods get where they need to go. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard to hear the phone, but that’s just part of being in this area. We like it here because it feels like a real part of the city, not some isolated office park.
