Ahamed International

Our office is up in Sf-11 at Sudha Tower over in Bhavanipuram. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift isn't working right that day, which happens more often than we’d like. Ahamed International isn't a massive place with glass walls or anything like that. It’s mostly just desks piled with folders and a couple of computers that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at shipping papers. Dealing with international stuff means we are sometimes here at odd hours because of the time differences. One of us is usually making tea in the corner while the rest are trying to track down where a shipment ended up. Bhavanipuram is a busy area, so there’s always something going on outside our window. Sometimes we just sit and watch the traffic while waiting for a call back. It’s just a few of us here working together. We’ve been in this building for a few years and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy with the daily grind to worry about that. We know our way around the paperwork and the local customs, which is basically what people need from us. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. The desks are a bit messy, but we know exactly where everything is when a client asks for a specific document and the phone rings again.
