The Krishnaveni Agro Oil Products Ltd.

Out here in Mallayapalem, things move at a bit of a different pace than in the big cities. Our address is P.B. No. 6, Gudivada. We’ve been involved with agro-oil products for a long time now. The factory and the office are pretty much where we spend all our daylight hours. You can usually smell the oil being processed when you get close to the gate. It’s a dusty road getting here, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We work with a lot of local farmers and people from the surrounding villages. Dealing with crops and oil means we’re always looking at the weather and the harvest cycles. It’s honest work, even if it’s messy and loud sometimes with the machinery running. The Krishnaveni name is well-known around these parts. We aren't some big corporate headquarters with shiny floors. Our floors are concrete and usually have some oil spots on them. We have a small crew that knows the machines inside and out. If something breaks, we usually fix it ourselves. We don't spend much on advertising or anything like that. People know where we are and what we do. It’s just about getting the oil pressed and packed and sent out on the trucks. Sometimes the trucks are late, or the crop isn't what we expected, but we just keep going. That’s life in the agro business out here.
