We have been in the Hotel Santosh Complex for a long time now. Most local folks know where we are because we’re right across from the Bank of India on Durgaiah Street. It gets very busy here in Governorpet, especially in the early mornings when everyone is heading to work or trying to finish up their chores at the bank. Our shop isn't anything fancy, just a big room where we keep all the tables, chairs, and cupboards we have for sale. Sometimes the dust from the street comes in through the door, so we spend a fair bit of our morning just wiping things down and making sure everything looks decent. We usually have a few guys working in the back area or helping us move the heavier furniture onto the sidewalk so people passing by can see what we have. It’s mostly just us doing the day-to-day work, answering questions, and making sure deliveries get to the right houses. People often stop by after they finish their business across the street or if they are staying at the hotel upstairs. We keep the main doors open most of the day, even when the afternoon heat gets a bit much. Sometimes we just sit on the small stools near the entrance and watch the traffic crawl by while waiting for a customer. It is a very simple way of doing things, and we don't have a big office, just the floor space with all the wood and metal items.
