Progressive Furniture House

We have three shops right next to each other, numbers 4, 5, and 6, over at Sri Chandra Apartments. It’s in the Prajasakthi Nagar area of Mogalrajpuram. Having the three spaces connected helps because furniture takes up a lot of room. Progressive Furniture House has been part of this apartment complex for a good stretch of time. You walk in and it’s usually full of wood, fabric, and the smell of polish. It’s often a bit cluttered because new pieces arrive before the old ones go out. We try to keep things organized but it’s a constant battle with all the tables and chairs. The floors are concrete and get pretty dusty with all the foot traffic. Mogalrajpuram is a busy area, so there’s always noise from the street coming in through the open doors. We keep the doors open mostly to let the breeze in and show people what we have inside. Sometimes the residents from Sri Chandra Apartments stop by just to say hello or ask about a small repair. We’ve become a bit of a fixture here I suppose. The lighting isn't the best in the back of shop number six, so we use some floor lamps there. It’s a practical setup. We don't have a big showroom vibe, just a lot of furniture packed in where it fits. It's a lot of lifting and moving stuff around every day for us. We just do our work and keep the shops open for everyone who walks by the building.
