Victory Soap Company

Victory Soap Company is located out in Velliparamba, which is a bit of a distance from the main Calicut city center. It’s quieter out here, which is nice for working. We make soap, and we’ve been doing it at this spot for quite a while. The smell of the oils and the ingredients is always in the air. It’s a small operation, mostly local people working together. We don't have a big factory line; it’s more hands-on. We spend our days mixing, cutting, and packing. Sometimes the batches take longer to set if the weather is humid, which happens a lot in Kerala. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. People buy our soap because they know it works for them. We deliver it around the local shops and sometimes further out. It’s a steady kind of business. We’re not looking to take over the world or anything like that. We just like making a product that people actually use in their daily lives. The office is just a corner of the building with a desk and a phone. If you call, someone will pick up, though we might be busy with a shipment. It’s just us here, doing the same thing we’ve done for years. We like the pace of life in Velliparamba. It suits us and the way we work. We aren't in a hurry, we just want the soap to be good. That’s enough for us.
