Uniroyal Marine Exports Ltd. operates out of our facility at 11/19 in Vengalam. It’s a straightforward setup where we focus on getting seafood ready for export. Vengalam is a good location for us because it’s close to the water, which makes the whole process a lot easier. The building itself is more about function than looks. We have the processing area and then a small space for the office work. Most of our day is spent dealing with the logistics of moving perishable goods. You have to be quick in this business, or things go bad. We have a crew that’s been with us for a while, and they know the routine inside out. We don’t use any complicated jargon or have a big corporate structure. It’s usually just the owner and a few managers making sure the workers have what they need. We’ve had our fair share of ups and downs, especially when the weather isn't cooperating or the market is slow. But we just keep at it. The office doesn't have much in the way of decoration, just some basic furniture and a few filing cabinets. We prefer to spend our time and money on the refrigeration units and the transport. People know us as a place that just gets the work done without making a big fuss. It’s a decent life, even if the hours can be long sometimes. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks and keeping things moving.
