Verdancy Green Farm Private Limited

Our farm is tucked away in Vadayam, over in the Kakkattil area of Kuttiadi. We’ve been working this land at Arattan Parambath for a good while now. It’s a family-run kind of place where everyone chips in when there’s work to be done. We focus on keeping things green and growing, hence the name Verdancy, though we don't use big words like that much in person. Most of the time, we’re just out in the fields dealing with whatever the weather throws at us. Kozhikode has some great soil if you treat it right. We grow a bit of everything, depending on what the season allows. It’s not a polished operation with gates and guards; it’s just a farm where we live and work. We have a few hands who help out during the busy times, but mostly it’s just the core group. People around here know us as the folks who are always out in the sun. We don't have a fancy storefront, just the farm itself. If you’re passing through Vadayam, you’ll see the rows of crops and maybe hear the tractor running. It’s hard work and the hours are long, but there’s something good about seeing a seed turn into something you can eat or sell. We take it one day at a time, hoping the rains come when they should and the bugs stay away. Some days the heat is a bit much, but we get by with plenty of water.
