Thotad School Anganawadi Kendra

Thotad School Anganawadi Kendra is over in the Markaz Garden Campus area in Unnikulam. It’s a quiet spot on the Kattipara Kolikkal Road. Most mornings start with the kids arriving from around Kozhikode. You can hear them from the gate. We have a small space here where they sit and do their basic lessons. It isn’t anything fancy. The walls have some drawings on them. Outside, there is a bit of greenery because of the garden campus nearby. We spend a lot of time just watching the little ones play or making sure they eat their food properly at noon. The kitchen gets busy around eleven o'clock. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit muddy on the road, but the parents still bring their children every day. We know all the families around here. It is just a regular Anganwadi doing what we need to do. We don't have big machines or anything, just some toys and books. The staff lives nearby, so we just walk to work. It feels like a small community. People stop by to chat or ask about the kids. That’s how things go at Thotad School. It’s a simple place with a lot of noise during the day and quiet evenings once everyone goes home to their families in the village. We just keep things running as best as we can without much fuss.
