St Joseph Junior School

St Joseph Junior School sits right on Red Cross Road in Vellayil. If you walk down this way, you can't really miss us. It’s a pretty straightforward setup we have here. We deal with younger kids mostly, so things tend to stay fairly lively throughout the day. The building has been part of this street for a long time. We try to keep things tidy but with so many children running around, there’s usually a stray bag or a lunchbox left behind somewhere. The staff here are locals who live nearby and know the families well. We don't go in for big speeches or fancy events much. Most of our time goes into the basic lessons and making sure everyone is where they should be. Vellayil is a nice area and being near the Red Cross Road makes it easy for parents to drop their kids off on the way to work. Sometimes the weather makes the courtyard a bit muddy, but we manage. We’ve got some old trees that provide decent shade when the sun is out. It’s not the biggest school you’ll ever see, but it fits what we need. We handle the paperwork, the teaching, and the occasional scraped knee without making a big deal out of it. It is just a regular school doing regular things for the neighborhood kids. We like the quiet moments before the first bell rings and the busy rush when school lets out for the day.
