The Weebles Pre School

The Weebles Pre School is tucked into the Pramod Building right on Cherutty Road in Kozhikode. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always something happening outside our doors. Being a pre-school, things are usually quite loud inside too, but in a good way. We have a few rooms set up for the little ones to play and learn their basics. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes in the building, but we make it work for everyone. The parents usually drop the kids off on their way to work since we are so central in Calicut. We don't have any big slogans or anything like that. We just look after the children and make sure they are safe while their parents are away. The staff here are mostly local people who have been with us for a while. Cherutty Road can get pretty crowded with traffic, so we are always careful during drop-off and pick-up times. Inside, it’s a different world with toys and drawings everywhere. We try to keep the place clean, though that’s a challenge with toddlers around. It’s a simple operation really. We open up in the morning, do our activities, and head home once the last child is picked up. We like being in this part of Kozhikode because everything is so close by. It’s just us doing our daily routine here and making sure the kids have a decent time.
