You can find us at 538/Xiii in Manimalethuvechoochira. It is a bit of a mouthful to say if you aren't from around here. Toms Granites Private Limited is a local business that mostly deals with the surrounding community. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we manage the granite loads. The area around Vechoochira is beautiful, but we are usually too busy looking at stone and checking invoices to notice. Working in the granite trade means you get used to the heavy lifting and the constant noise of trucks. We have a small crew and we all know each other well. Some days we are just sitting around waiting for the rain to stop so we can load the vehicles. Other days, it’s a mad rush from sunrise to sunset. We don’t put on any acts for our customers. We just show them what we’ve got and help them figure out how much they need for their project. The stone business is pretty simple when you get down to it. You find the stone, you cut it, and you move it to where it needs to go. We’ve been doing this for long enough that it’s second nature to us now. The building we are in is nothing special, just a place to keep the rain off our heads while we do the paperwork. We like the quiet life here when the machines aren't running.
