You can find us at 26, Tirussur. We are right near the Kala Mandapam, so it’s easy for people to locate the yard. We’ve been here for a few years. It’s just a basic granite yard without any frills. We have slabs of all sizes leaning against the walls. We don't have a showroom or a fancy place for people to sit. You just walk around the yard and look at the stones yourself. We can do some simple cutting if you need a specific size. The noise from the saws is constant throughout the day. We try to keep a variety of colors in stock, though it depends on what we can get from the quarries. It’s just a small team of us here. We do all the work, from unloading the trucks to helping customers. Moving granite is very difficult work because it is so heavy and can break if you aren't careful. We don't have any scripted sales pitches. We just show people what is available and tell them the price. Most of our customers are from right here in Tirussur. They know us and we know most of them too. It’s a very practical business. We wake up early, open the gates, and spend the day moving rocks. By the time we close, we are usually exhausted. But it’s a good way to earn a living and we stay busy every week.
