Platkattu Granites

Platkattu Granites is situated at 241/278 in Chellavoor. We are right on the Wayanad Road. It’s a long road and we see a lot of trucks passing by every hour. The yard is where we keep all the granite slabs. We’ve been here in Chellavoor for several years. It’s a lot of outdoor work. The stone is heavy and we have to be careful moving it. We don't have a shiny showroom. It's more of a working yard. People stop their cars when they see the granite pieces standing up. We talk to them about what they need for their houses. Wayanad Road is always busy, which is good for us. We spend our days measuring and moving stone. It’s a bit of a rough job on the hands. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us and the granite. We try to keep the stock organized but it’s hard with so much stone. 241/278 is our specific spot. If you drive down from the main town, you’ll see us. We like the fresh air out here. It’s a straightforward business. We show the granite, they pick it, and we help them load it. That’s about it for Platkattu Granites.
