Tijo Thomas

I’m Tijo Thomas. I run things out of my house, Elanjimoottil, which is in Thrikothamangalam near Kottayam in Kerala. It’s a very quiet place compared to the big cities. You can hear the birds and see a lot of greenery around here. This isn't a typical business office with cubicles and bright lights. It's a home where work happens. I’ve lived in this part of Kerala for a long time, and I decided to set up my work right here instead of moving to a city center. It’s much more peaceful this way. My family is around, and the pace of life is just better. People know the Elanjimoottil house in the village, so finding us isn't too hard if you're from around here. We don't have a big team or anything. It’s mostly just me handling the day-to-day stuff. Sometimes things get a bit slow when the weather is bad, especially during the monsoon, but we manage. It’s a simple, honest way of living and working. I don't feel the need for a fancy storefront or a big sign on the road. The work speaks for itself, and people in Thrikothamangalam are good neighbors. We just keep things moving and do our best with what we have. It’s a small operation, but it’s ours, and that’s what matters to me. We aren't trying to be anything huge, just steady and reliable in our own way.
