At Suvarnarekha Design Consultants, we work out of the Trio-Chambers in Kanjikuzhy. It is a nice part of Kottayam, and the building is easy to find. We are basically a group of people who spend our time thinking about designs and how to make them work in the real world. Our office is filled with sketches, rolls of drawings, and plenty of pens that always seem to go missing when you need one. We do not have a formal way of doing things; it is more about sitting down and talking through ideas until they make sense. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, and the office gets a bit messy with coffee mugs and discarded drafts. Kerala has such a specific style, and we try to keep that in mind while we work. We are not a huge firm with hundreds of employees, so everyone knows each other. It is a friendly atmosphere, even when we are arguing over a specific detail in a plan. People stop by to chat about their projects, and we usually sit in the small meeting area which is just a table with some mismatched chairs. We do not put on a show for anyone. We just enjoy the process of taking an idea and putting it on paper. It is a steady pace of work here in Kottayam, and we would not have it any other way.
