Amala Architects And Interiors

Our office is in the Kooroth Building out in Parampuzha, Kottayam. It’s pretty close to Mangalam Architectural College, which is handy. Amala Architects and Interiors is what we call ourselves, but mostly we’re just a small team working on buildings and rooms. We’ve been in Perumbaikkad for a while now. The space we have is simple, mostly just tables for our drawings and a few computers for the interior stuff. It’s not one of those high-end studios you see in magazines. It’s a real office where we drink too much tea and argue over where a wall should go. Most of our clients are people from around the neighborhood or the next town over. We don't do anything too crazy, just honest design work that fits what people need. Sometimes we get students from the college nearby stopping by to ask questions. We like being part of the local scene here in Kottayam. It’s a quiet area, and that suits us just fine. We just keep our heads down and get the drawings finished. There’s always a lot of paper everywhere, and the phone rings more than we’d like, but that’s just how it goes when you’re running a small business like this. We don't have a fancy website or anything; we just rely on people knowing us from around the area. It keeps things simple and honest for everyone involved.
