K.P.F. Farm House And Idukki Gates Resorts Private Limited

Our farm house and resort is up in Kadanad, specifically in the Meenachil Kozhikkottu area. It is a bit of a trek to get up here sometimes, but the air is different than in the city and it’s a lot quieter. We have the farm side and the resort side, so there is always a mix of animals, plants, and guests coming through. It keeps us busy from early in the morning until late at night. We don't have a big team of professionals or anything like that. It is mostly just a few of us who know how to handle the land and look after the guest rooms. We started this because we liked the idea of having a place where people could see a bit of farm life without it being a staged thing. It is a working farm, so sometimes it is messy and there is mud on our boots. The resort part is kept as tidy as we can manage. We spend a lot of time fixing fences or planting new things in the garden. Idukki Gates is just what we call our little entrance to this part of the world. We don't spend money on fancy ads. Most people hear about us from someone else who stayed here and liked the quiet. It is an honest way to live and work. We just hope that when people leave, they feel like they have seen a real slice of life.
