AUGUSTYA FARMS & ADVENTURE RESORTS PRIVATE LIMITED

Our business is based at Kulangara House in Marangattupilly, which is near Pala. The house number is 8/354-A. We are doing something a bit different with Augustya Farms and Adventure Resorts. We have some land here and we wanted to use it for more than just traditional farming. We’ve added some adventure stuff because we think people need to get out more and move around. It’s a family-run thing. We aren't some big city corporation. We live right here and work the land too. Pala is a great place for farming, but adding the resort side of things has been a big learning curve for us. We spend a lot of time outside making sure the farm part is healthy and the adventure gear is safe for everyone. It’s a lot of physical work and we are often tired by the end of the day. Our office is just a room in the house where we keep the ledger and take some calls. Sometimes the cows get out or the fence needs fixing, and that takes priority over the paperwork. We don't have a big staff. It is just us and a few local guys who help out when things get busy. We aren't trying to be the most famous resort in Kerala. We just want to offer a place where people can see a real farm and have a bit of a climb or a hike. It’s a simple life and we like it that way.
