We operate out of the Kalariparambil Building, right at the Kuruppanthara Kavala. It’s a handy spot because everyone passes through this junction at some point. Being at number 632 means we’ve got enough space for what we do, though it gets crowded when a new shipment arrives. Trading involves a lot of paperwork and checking boxes, so that’s what we spend most of our time on. Kuruppanthara is a nice place to be based, even if the traffic at the intersection gets a bit much during the rush. We started here years ago and just kept going. It's mostly us and a couple of helpers managing the day-to-day tasks. We deal with various items and try to keep track of what’s in high demand. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit and wait, but usually, it’s just a lot of movement. People stop in because they see the building from the road. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s a working warehouse and office combined. We know the local rhythms here, like when the tea shop next door gets busy or when the trucks are likely to arrive. It’s a steady life and we’re quite used to the noise and the pace of the Kavala. Just a local business trying to keep things running smooth. We often have to double check our lists because things get misplaced in the back. It is just the way it goes when you are busy.
