We are located in Kottayam, specifically at Thadathilankal in the Chamampathal area. It’s a bit of a quiet spot, which is exactly why we like it. Elangoi is the local place name people use when they are giving directions. We are running Arcube Resorts from here. It’s not a massive operation. We are basically a local family and some friends who decided to get into the resort business because we had the space. Kottayam has so much green space and hills, so it felt right to do something here. Our office is just a part of the building here. We don't have fancy glass walls or receptionists in uniforms. It's just a regular place where we sit and figure out how to make the resort better for the people who come to stay. We handle the bookings, the cleaning, and the maintenance ourselves mostly. It’s hard work and the days are long, but we enjoy being our own bosses. The weather here can be quite something, especially during the monsoons when everything turns bright green and the rain doesn't stop. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just provide a room and a bit of quiet. If you are coming from the main town, it takes a little while to get out here to Chamampathal, but it’s worth it for the peace you get. We just want to keep things simple and honest. That’s how we've always done things around here in Kottayam.
