Vaishnav Traders

At Vaishnav Traders, located at Nayapura Brijrajpura 17/49, things are usually moving pretty fast. We deal with a lot of supplies and stuff that people need for their own businesses or homes. The shop is filled with crates and heavy bags that we have to move around more often than we’d like. It’s a bit of a maze inside if you don’t know where you’re going. We’ve been at this address for a while, and the walls show it. There are marks from where we stack things and some old calendars hanging up that we forgot to take down. We spend our mornings checking the ledgers and seeing what came in on the trucks overnight. It is a lot of manual work, getting things off the floor and onto the shelves. The neighborhood of Nayapura is always active, so there is always someone knocking on the door even before we are officially open. We handle a lot of phone calls too, mostly people checking if we have enough stock of this or that. We don't have fancy uniforms or anything like that. We just wear what’s comfortable for lifting boxes. By the end of the day, our hands are usually a bit dirty and the floor needs a good wash, but that is just how trading goes. The front window is usually covered in a bit of grime from the street, but we try to wipe it down on Monday mornings.
