Tulshi Ornaments Center

Our shop is situated in the old vegetable market area of Shripura, which most people just call Purani Sabji Mandi. It is a very lively and noisy place to spend the day. Every morning, the vendors are out there with their carts, which can make it a bit difficult to get through the crowd to our front door. Tulshi Ornaments Center has been in this spot for a long time, right in the middle of all the market stalls. We handle various ornaments and small pieces of jewelry. The shop itself is small and packed with glass display cases and some stools for people to rest on while they look. We don't have air conditioning or any of those modern fancy signs. We just use a few bright lights so the jewelry can catch the eye. People come to visit us when there is a big family wedding or if they want to buy a small gift for someone. We know many of our customers by their first names because they have been shopping in this mandi for years. Sometimes you can smell the fresh ginger or chilies from the stalls outside, which is just part of the experience. We spend a lot of our time cleaning the glass and making sure the shop looks decent. It is not a high-end boutique, but it is a solid local shop. We like being part of the daily market life and wouldn't move elsewhere.
