Shri Balaji Steels

Our business, Shri Balaji Steels, is located in Ward No. 22 on Hanumangarh Road. We are part of Rajiv Colony, and if you know where the cort is, we are just a short walk from there. This part of town is usually quite busy with people coming and going for legal matters, so there is always a lot of traffic on the road outside our gate. We mostly deal with iron and steel products for construction and small repairs. The yard is usually filled with piles of rods and sheets that we have to move around by hand or with the crane when it’s working. It isn't a very clean job; your clothes get stained with rust and grease pretty quickly here. A small office is where we keep the ledgers, but we spend most of our time outside. The weather plays a big part in our day. When it rains, everything has to be covered up, and when it’s dry, the dust from the road settles on everything. We have been at this address for a long time and have seen the colony grow around us. We aren't doing anything fancy here. The steel is bought and then sold to whoever needs it for their projects. It’s a lot of lifting and measuring and making sure the weights are correct on the scale. Day by day, we just try to keep things moving.
