Captaan Fabrication Works

Captaan Fabrication Works is located right at Gumanpura on Jhalawar Road near the Anatpura Chourah. It’s a busy intersection and there’s always something happening outside the workshop. Most days you can hear the sound of welding and metal hitting metal from down the street. We started this place because we knew the area well and it seemed like a good spot for a fabrication shop. The floor is covered in scraps of iron and the smell of burnt metal stays in the air all day. It’s not the cleanest place but that’s just how it is when you’re building things. We have a few old fans that try their best to keep the air moving but they don't do much when it’s really hot out. The guys working here are from around the neighborhood and they know their way around a grinder. We don't use any fancy computer systems to track things. Most of the notes are kept in a thick notebook on the main table. Sometimes customers just stop their bikes out front and shout for someone to come out and help them. It gets pretty loud with all the traffic from Jhalawar Road but you get used to it after a week or two. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes in. It’s a simple shop and we like it that way.
