Nawab Iron & Steel Re Rolling Mills

Working in an iron and steel re-rolling mill isn't for everyone. It is loud, it is hot, and you are usually covered in a bit of dust by the end of the shift. Nawab Iron & Steel Re Rolling Mills is located in Industrial Area E-15. We don't have a fancy street name or a polished office front. Most of our space is taken up by the machinery and the raw materials that come in throughout the week. The heat from the furnaces is something you just learn to live with after a few days on the job. Our team is a tough bunch who don't mind a bit of hard work. We aren't really into the whole corporate culture thing. Here, you just do your job and help the guy next to you when things get heavy. The office is just a small room off to the side where we keep the logs and take our breaks. It’s pretty basic, but it’s all we need. We’ve been operating out of E-15 for quite some time now and the rhythm of the mill is like a heartbeat for us. When the rollers are going and the metal is moving, that is when the place feels alive. It’s honest, gritty work that doesn't need any fancy words to describe it. We are just here doing what we know how to do, day in and day out, regardless of how the weather turns out or how tired we might feel. It's just a job, but it's our job.
