Priya Fancy Store

Priya Fancy Store is situated right at Kherli Phatak. It’s a small place, but we try to keep it packed with all sorts of things people might need for festivals or daily use. We have got bangles, ribbons, and all kinds of small decorative items. The shop has been here for a long time, and the locals know us well. It’s usually me or my wife behind the counter. Kherli Phatak is a busy junction, so there is always a lot of traffic and noise from the trains and cars. Sometimes it gets so loud we have to shout a bit to be heard. We don't have any big signs or bright lights, just the usual shelves and a few glass cases. It is a simple life running a store like this. We spend a lot of time dusting the items because the road outside brings in a lot of dirt. People come in looking for specific colors of thread or a certain type of bindi, and we do our best to find it in the drawers. It is a bit messy behind the counter with all the bags and spare boxes, but we know where everything is. We don't do any fancy advertising, word of mouth from the neighbors is how most people find us. It’s just a honest little shop trying to serve the people in this part of town. We are here every day except for some holidays.
