Anil Bag Store

Anil Bag Store is situated near Mohan Takiz on the Main Road of Purani Sabji Mandi. This area is always packed with people buying vegetables or going to the movies. The shop is right in the middle of all that chaos. We have bags piled up everywhere—hanging from the rafters and lined up along the walls. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than two people are inside at once. The floor is old stone and the ceiling fan makes a clicking noise that we’ve just gotten used to. We spend the day talking to customers over the noise of the honking cars and the vegetable sellers shouting their prices. It’s not a quiet place to work, but it’s never boring. We’ve been at this location for years, so we know most of the other shopkeepers around here. We usually share a pot of tea in the afternoon when things slow down just a tiny bit. We don't do any big marketing or anything. If people need a bag, they come to the old vegetable market and find us. The light inside isn't the brightest, so we often take things out to the sidewalk to show the colors properly. It’s just a regular shop doing regular business. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. We just keep the stock full and the door open for whoever passes by on the main road everyday while the market stays busy.
