Prem Hotel

Prem Hotel is right by the Nayapura Bus Stand. In a place like 324001, the bus stand is where everything happens. You have people coming from all over, carrying heavy bags and looking for a place to sit down for a minute. We’ve been here for quite some time, watching the buses go in and out all day long. It’s a bit noisy because of the horns and the conductors shouting out the destinations, but you get used to it after a week or two. The rooms aren't like those big hotels in the city center, they are just basic and clean for people who need a rest. We see a lot of travelers who are just passing through. Sometimes they stay for a night, sometimes just for a few hours. I usually sit at the small desk near the entrance. The fan overhead makes a clicking sound that I really should get fixed one of these days. We have a few regular tea drinkers who come by every morning from the nearby shops. It’s a simple business. We don’t have a website or anything fancy like that. If you’re at Nayapura and you need us, you can’t really miss the building. It’s been painted the same color for years. We just try to be helpful to the people who walk through the door. It gets a bit dusty with all the buses, but we sweep the front step every few hours.
