New Haryana Handloom Center

New Haryana Handloom Center is located right in Gumanpura on the Rawat Bhata Road. If you know Gumanpura, you know it is one of those places that is always buzzing with people and traffic. Our shop is filled from floor to ceiling with all kinds of handloom items, blankets, and curtains. It is a lot to keep track of, honestly. We spend a good chunk of our morning just folding things back up that got moved around the day before. The dust from the road comes in sometimes, so we are always cleaning. We don't use any fancy lighting or big displays. We just stack the goods where people can see the colors and feel the fabric. Customers usually come in looking for something sturdy for their homes. We talk to them, show a few options, and let them decide. There is no pressure. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so the ceiling fans are always on full blast. We share news with the shopkeepers next door and watch the world go by on Rawat Bhata Road. It is a straightforward business. We buy what we think people will like and hope they agree. We have been in this spot for years and have seen the local market change quite a bit. Despite the new malls, people still come to us for the basics. It is just a regular shop run by regular people.
