Start with where the shop is. 493 Mahaveer Nagar. It's a busy spot in Kota. We've been here a while. People come in when their screens break or they need a new charger. It’s not fancy. We have some shelves with cases and screen protectors. Sometimes it gets crowded in the afternoons when students from the coaching centers walk by. Dealing with phones all day can be a lot, especially when someone comes in with water damage and they are really worried about their photos. We just try to fix what we can. It’s mostly just us working here, talking to neighbors and making sure people have working phones. The traffic on the road outside can be loud, but you get used to it. We keep a stock of different brands. Nothing too crazy. If we don't have something, we usually just tell you. It’s a small space, really. Just enough for the counters and the repair tools in the back. Kota heat is no joke, so we keep the fan running full speed most of the year. People stop by just to ask questions about their settings or why their battery is dying so fast. We don't mind. It's just part of being in Mahaveer Nagar II. Life moves pretty fast here with all the students around, so we stay busy. We have been sitting at this same address for years and we know the faces of the people who live nearby. It's a decent way to spend the day.
