G.R.E At Umed Bhawan Palace{ Welcom Heritage}Kota

You can find us over at A-11, Rural Police Line Road in the Borkhera area of Kota. We are connected to the Umed Bhawan Palace, which is one of those old heritage spots everyone in the city knows about. Working here is quite different from a regular office because you are always surrounded by that old-style Rajasthan architecture and the long history of the place. Our specific spot is a bit down the road from the main palace gates, closer to the police lines. We handle the guest relations and some of the work for the people who come to stay at the palace or visit the heritage grounds. It’s not always glamorous work; there is a lot of walking back and forth and making sure the visitors are happy with their travel arrangements. We wear our uniforms and try to look presentable for the guests, even when the Rajasthan heat is hitting really hard in the middle of the day. The area around Borkhera has changed a lot lately with more new buildings coming up, but the palace grounds still feel like their own little world. We have a small desk where we keep the daily logs and the guest lists. Sometimes we have to help out with the events or big weddings that happen on the lawn. It’s a lot of coordination and talking to different departments to make sure things go okay for the heritage site. We just take it one day at a time here.
