We are up on the first floor of Agarwal Bhawan, number 186. It’s tucked away behind the Kailashchand Manak Chand shop in the Shopping Centre area of Kota. It can be a little tricky to find the first time, but once you know where the stairs are, it’s easy. The Shopping Centre is a landmark in itself, so there’s always people moving around. Our office is a modest space. We have a couple of desks and some chairs where we sit and talk through travel plans. Most of our work is just handling the everyday details of tours and tourism. We aren't a big agency with shiny signs. We just do our work quietly. Sometimes we stay late when there are a lot of bookings to finish. The building is older, but it has a lot of character. We’ve seen the market outside change over the years, with new shops opening and old ones closing. We stay pretty consistent though. People come back to us because they know where we are and they know we’ll give them a straight answer. We don't use any fancy talk. If a trip is going to be long or tiring, we tell people. It’s better to be honest about those things. Dealing with all the paperwork can be a bit much sometimes, but we get through it. It’s just us, working in our little corner of Agarwal Bhawan, helping people see new places. We like the pace here in the Shopping Centre area.
