Hotel Satkar

If you are walking down Mala Road near Kota Junction, you will come across Hotel Satkar. We have been here for many years, providing a place for people to stay. Because we are so close to the railway station, we see a whole lot of different people every day. Some are just stopping for a quick nap between trains, while others stay for a few days to finish their work in the city. The building is quite old and simple, so do not expect anything very modern or fancy. We have basic rooms that are kept as clean as we can manage. It gets pretty noisy outside with the sound of the trains and the traffic on Mala Road, but that is just the way it is in this neighborhood. We don't have a big staff, so you will often see the same few faces at the front desk or helping with the bags. We try to help our guests if they need to know where to find a bus or a good place to eat nearby. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or a light bulb needs changing, and we just handle it as it comes. We are not trying to be a luxury hotel. We just want to offer a decent place for a traveler to rest their head for a night or two. It is a busy life running a hotel here, but we are used to the rhythm of the junction and the people coming and going. We keep the doors open for everyone.
