Hotel Rajshree

Being right by Kota Junction Railway Station Road means we are always on our feet. This part of Kota never really sleeps because of the trains coming in at 2 AM or 4 AM. We get a lot of students and their parents who come here for the coaching centers, and they usually look tired when they arrive. The hotel isn't anything modern. It’s an older building with high ceilings and fans that hum a bit too loud. We try to keep the floors scrubbed, but with so many people walking in from the station, the dirt follows them. I spend a lot of my time sitting at the entrance, watching the rickshaws go by. We don’t have a big kitchen or a fancy menu. Usually, we just tell people where the local dhabas are nearby. The rooms have basic furniture, nothing stylish. We’ve had the same curtains for a long time, though we wash them regularly. In the summer, it gets incredibly hot here, so the coolers are always running. We don’t have a big corporate team. It’s just me and a couple of boys who handle the luggage and the cleaning. We are just a regular spot in the 324002 area. People know us for being right there when they step off the train. It's a simple life, mostly just checking people in and out and making sure there's enough water for everyone's shower. We don't do anything special here.
