Hotel Gayatri

Hotel Gayatri is right here in the Shopping Centre at Mahaveer Nagar 98. It is not one of those massive luxury places you see in the big cities. We are more of a local spot where people stay when they are passing through or have work in the area. The rooms are basic, we try to keep them clean and the fans working. Some days the lobby gets a bit dusty because of the street outside, but we sweep it out every morning. We have a few staff members who have been with us for years. They know how everything works, which light switches are loose and which rooms get the best breeze. Usually, students or travelers on a budget find us. It can get noisy outside because of the shopping centre, but that is just part of being in this part of town. We don't have a big fancy menu, just some standard food if someone is hungry. Most of the time, it is just about making sure the keys are ready when someone walks in late at night. We don't do much advertising. People usually find us by word of mouth or just seeing the sign while walking past. It is a simple life running a hotel here. We see a lot of different faces every week. Some stay for a night, some for a month. We just try to keep the doors open and the water running.
