Hemsons Traders

Being located right on Jhalawar Road means there is always a lot of noise from the heavy trucks and cars passing by all day. We opened Hemsons Traders a few years back because this part of the city was starting to grow. It is mostly just a few of us here every single day. We handle a lot of different supplies, and the small warehouse we have gets pretty cramped during the peak months. I usually get here around nine in the morning to pull up the heavy iron shutters. The dust from the road is a bit of a constant problem, so we are always wiping down the glass counters with old rags. We deal with a lot of regular customers who know exactly what they need, so we don't have to spend a lot of time talking, just getting the orders sorted. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late, which makes the morning a bit stressful, but we always manage to catch up. We aren't some big corporation with polished offices. Our office is just an old wooden desk in the corner with a computer that acts up whenever the rain starts. We still keep a paper ledger for the older folks who don't trust the digital receipts. It is a straightforward way to work. Most of our day is spent checking the stock levels. If you are driving down the road, you might miss us if you go too fast.
