Ultratech Cement Limited

This is the Ultratech Cement Limited grinding unit over in Ginigera. We are located right in Ginidera Village. It is a dedicated site for grinding, so there is a lot of heavy equipment and a lot of noise throughout the day. It’s not an office building where you’d sit in a suit. It’s a place where things actually get made. We have a team of local workers who know the machines inside and out. It’s a busy place with a lot of movement. The village is right there, so we feel like a real part of the community. We just focus on the production side and making sure the output is what it should be. It’s a practical environment. There is a lot of grit and hard work involved in every shift. We don't have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably see someone in boots and a hard hat. We just do our jobs and go home. The grinding process is something we’ve got down to a science now. It takes a lot of attention even if the surroundings look a bit rough. We are just a group of people working together to keep the supply going. It isn't always easy, especially when the weather is bad, but we keep at it. We are just a local unit doing the heavy lifting for the company. That’s how we see it anyway. We stay busy every day.
