You can find us over at Bh2/18 in the V.V Nagar Township. That’s in Tumkur, Karnataka, specifically the 583275 area. We work for Jsw Steels Ltd from this location. It’s a township setting, so it feels a bit more like a community than just a cold industrial site. There are families living all around, and we’re just another part of the daily life here. Our work is mostly administrative, keeping track of the steel production and where everything is headed across the region. It’s not the kind of place with a big neon sign or anything like that. We just have our small office space where we keep the files and do the daily reporting. Some of us have been here for years, and we’ve seen the township change and grow quite a bit. It’s a steady kind of job that keeps us busy. We don’t do anything fancy or try to look more important than we are. If a shipment is delayed or someone needs a status update on an order, we’re the ones who look it up in the system. The building itself is pretty standard for the area, with its own quirks. We have our coffee together in the mornings and talk about the weekend while we wait for the computers to load. It's a very human way of working. We aren't trying to be the biggest office, we just want to make sure the work we do from Tumkur is solid and done on time every day.
