We are located in the JSW Township in Vidyanagar, which is part of the Toranagallu village area in Bellary. Our office ID is 45. The township is a bit like its own little world in the middle of the Karnataka countryside. It is very dry and the soil is that bright red color that gets on everything. When the wind blows, you definitely feel the dust. It’s a long way from any big city, so we rely on what’s inside the township for most things. The office is a practical space, nothing fancy. We have some desks, a few cupboards for files, and not much else. Most of the people working here live just a few minutes away in the same housing blocks. It makes for a short commute, which is the best part of being stationed here. The weather gets incredibly hot in the summer months, so we tend to start early and take it slow during the peak sun. We don't have a lot of walk-in customers or anything like that; it’s mostly just staff and contractors moving between the plant and the offices. The roads inside the township are well-kept, which is a change from the main highway outside. It’s a quiet life here, focused on the work at hand. We’ve been part of this Vidyanagar setup for years and it’s just home now.
