You can find us at Qtr.No. Id / 45 in Vidyanagar, Toranagallu. This is heartland for Jsw Steel. The township is a unique place because everyone you meet is connected to the steel industry in one way or another. Our office is set up in one of the quarters, which gives it a very grounded, local feel. There isn’t a sign with flashing lights or anything like that. It’s just a place where we get the work done. The rooms are filled with maps of the plant, shipping schedules, and stacks of documents that need signing. It gets pretty hot during the Bellary summers, so we mostly keep the curtains drawn and the fans on high. We spend our days coordinating with the transport teams and making sure the supplies are coming in as they should. It’s a lot of manual tracking and talking to people face-to-face. We don’t go for any of that corporate style; it’s more about being practical and getting through the list of tasks. The people here have a lot of experience, and we don’t need much direction to know what needs doing. We see the same faces every day, and that makes the work easier. It’s a simple life focused on the steel business, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just keep moving forward, one shipment at a time.
