We are located at Plot No. 02 in the SBI Colony, which is over in Gandhi Nagar. Our building is called Nandini. It’s a bit different being in a residential colony compared to the industrial zones, but it works for us. It’s a bit quieter here, at least until the phones start ringing. We handle a lot of the administrative side of Jsw Steel from this address. The office is set up in a way that feels a bit like a home, which makes the long hours more bearable. We have a small yard where we park the vehicles, and there is usually a dog or two napping in the shade near the gate. People in the colony know we are here, and they don’t seem to mind the occasional truck that comes by. Inside, it’s a lot of paperwork and people sitting at old wooden desks. We don’t have a fancy reception area. If you walk in, you’re likely to just see someone working on a ledger or talking to a vendor on a mobile phone. We’ve been in Bellary long enough to know how to handle the heat and the dust. We just keep the windows closed when it gets too windy and keep working. It’s a steady place with people who have been with the company for years. We just focus on getting the day's work done.
