Being over at V.V Nagar in Toranagallu means we are right where the action is. Our place is at M-3/3, and it’s basically a part of the township life here. If you work for Jsw Steel, you know this neighborhood well. It’s a mix of living and working, which is how things usually go around the plant. The office is small and tucked away, but it’s always active. We have a lot of people from the main plant coming by to sort out logistics or just to check on their schedules. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s a good one. You can hear the distant hum of the machinery from the worksite throughout the day. We’ve got a few desks pushed together and some old cupboards for the files. It’s not about looking good; it’s about keeping the steel moving. The dust is a constant battle here, so we are always wiping down the tables. We know most of our neighbors by name, and there’s a sense of community that you don’t get in the big city offices. We take our breaks together and talk about the shifts and the production numbers. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of environment. We just show up, do the job, and make sure everything is running the way it should be for the Bellary operations.
