Jsw Steel Ltd

Our Jsw Steel Ltd branch is at O4/8 Vidyanagar in Toranagallu. This is out in the Bellary district of Karnataka. It’s a small office unit within the township that handles a lot of the back-end work for the steel operations. We are right in the thick of things here, with the plant just a short distance away. Most of the people working in this office live in the same area. It’s a simple life with a lot of focus on the steel industry. We don’t have fancy marketing brochures or anything like that. We just look at the spreadsheets and the production logs to make sure everything is on track. It gets quite dusty and hot in Toranagallu, so we just get used to that being part of the environment. The township is a self-contained place, which is handy for everyone. We spend our days making sure the logistics side of the business is functioning properly. It can be a lot of repetitive work, but it’s what keeps the company running. We are just regular people doing a job that needs to be done. We don't make a big deal out of it. There’s always another shipment to plan or another report to file. It’s a very practical way to spend the work week. We try to keep things organized so there aren't too many surprises during the shift.
