We've been here in Kollam on Beach Road for quite a while now. If you walk past the Collector’s Bungalow, you can't miss us. It’s an old part of town, right near the water. Most days, the air smells like the sea mixed with the roasting cashews. We started small, just handling local crops, and now it’s a whole operation with people coming in early every morning to sort and pack. It’s not fancy work, but it keeps us busy. The office is tucked away at Post Box No 75, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. Some days are hectic when the new shipments arrive. The gate is always open during the day, and there's usually a truck or two backed up. We don't spend much time on decorations; the focus is just on getting the nuts cleaned and ready. My uncle used to say the beach breeze helps keep everyone calm when things get loud in the processing area. We just do what we do, day in and day out. It’s a lot of manual sorting, making sure nothing bad gets through. Sometimes the heat gets to you, but the fans keep things moving. We’ve had the same staff for ages, and everyone knows their job. It’s just how things are run around here. It gets a bit dusty with all the bags moving, but that's part of it.
