Devika Building Material Trading

We are out here in Vilakkupara, right by the post office. It's a small place but we keep busy with all the construction happening around the village. Mostly it is just us moving bags and making sure people get what they need for their houses. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to get things delivered on time, but we try to manage. We have been here for a while now. The shop is filled with all sorts of stuff, from pipes to bricks and everything else you’d expect. People stop by on their way through the P.O. and we spend a lot of time just chatting about what they’re building. It isn't a fancy office or anything, just a workspace where things get done. We handle the loading ourselves most days. It gets dusty, especially when the wind picks up. Sometimes we run out of specific items and have to wait for the next truck to come down the road. That’s just how it goes in a place like this. We know almost everyone who walks through the door by name. It’s quiet in the mornings but picks up by noon. We just keep the doors open and wait for the next order to come in. Nothing more to it than that. We are just a local spot for local people who are trying to get their projects finished without too much trouble.
